Beckminster Centenary Celebration Weekend - 6th and 7th June 2026

This weekend was chosen for the Centenary celebrations being the nearest to the 10th June which is actually Centenary Day.

Sunday 7th June 2026

A service of celebration for our Centenary was held in the church followed by a hot lunch in the main hall.

A packed congregation sharing in the Centenary celebration.

During the service Paul reflected on the number of people who had been baptised at Beckminster over 100 years, the number of marriages and the number of funeral services over such a long period of time. He also reflected on the number of people who have had their faith nurtured and sustained over the time and that our faith journey continues into the next 100 years.

Hazel Graham has produced a cross stitch picture of the interior of the church to celebrate the Centenary which was unveiled during the service. The cross stitch will be hung in the Coffee Bar.
