The Craft Group Centenary Board

The Foundation Stone for a new Methodist Church at Beckminster was laid on 9th July 1925. To celebrate this anniversary, a Centenary Board produced by the Craft Group was unveiled in the Church. The unveiling took place during a special service on Sunday 6th July being the nearest Sunday to the date of the original stone laying.

May its walls resound with praise, its doors open in welcome, its people rooted in Christ, the sure foundation. Amen.

Lord, as we unveil this beautiful piece of art,

which celebrates your gracious gifting of this church to us and our community,

we also give thanks for the skills and talents that went into making it.
