Rev Emma Kendall (nee Sergeant)

It was a real delight to welcome Rev Emma Kendall to our pulpit on Sunday 20th September 2026 as part of our programme of visiting preachers for our Centenary celebrations.

Emma's mother Margaret was also in the congregation and it was an opportunity to catch up with many old friends.

In a thought provoking sermon, Emma asked us to relect on our position in the kingdom of God given Jesus's clear statement that the first will be last and the last will be first and how this challenges us to react to others groups and individuals in our society.
