A large congregation which included our friends from Cranmer enjoyed a joyous celebration of Easter and Holy Communion.

Each member of the congregation was asked to bring a flower to decorate the Easter Cross as a symbol of our risen Lord. The cross was organised by Carol Topham and made from the trunk of our Chrismon Tree.

Our friends from Cranmer brought two items with them, both powerful images of the Easter story - a broken cross and the Garden of Gethsemane.

The Garden was made by the children who attend Messy Church at Cranmer.

Our Lenten journey is complete. Let joy take root. Let life burst forth.

Christ is risen - Alleluia!
