A Celebration of Marriage at Beckminster Methodist Church

Saturday 28th March 2026 saw a celebration service and an afternoon tea attended by over 150 people who have been married at Beckminster over time. The event was planned as part of our Centenary celebrations and was a huge success.
The Celebration Cake was cut by Doug Billingsley who was married at Beck in 1952 and Myles and Rachel McDonald who were married at Beck in 2025.
During the tea people were able to look at a display of wedding photographs donated by couples who have been married at Beckminster.
The afternoon was a huge success and a celebration of the enduring power of love.
